1. Current Billing Status
As of the “Last updated” date above, Regent may not yet have live payment processing enabled for all users or all features. This Policy is published in advance so users understand the rules that will apply when paid plans, usage-based billing, credits, or similar purchase mechanisms are enabled.
2. When Paid Billing Launches
Once Regent enables subscriptions, usage-based billing, prepaid credits, or similar purchase features, all fees will be governed by the pricing and billing terms shown at the time of purchase, together with this Policy and the Regent Terms & Conditions.
Unless Regent expressly states otherwise in writing, purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
3. Credits and Usage-Based Features
Some Regent features may consume credits, usage allotments, generation capacity, or other billable units when you request outputs such as avatars, voice processing, media generation, publishing actions, or related workflows.
- once credits or usage units are consumed, they are not refundable, reversible, or restorable solely because you disliked the result, expected a different result, or chose not to use the output;
- credits consumed by generation attempts, processing runs, provider calls, rendering, storage actions, or similar workflows are treated as used even if the output is imperfect, incomplete, rejected by a platform, or not commercially useful to you;
- unused credits, if any, are not refundable unless Regent expressly states otherwise or applicable law requires a refund.
4. Non-Refundable Charges
Except where required by applicable law, Regent will not provide refunds for:
- change of mind after purchase;
- dissatisfaction with creative style, likeness quality, voice similarity, tone, formatting, caption quality, or any other subjective aspect of AI-generated output;
- outputs that differ from your expectations, even if you believe the result was weaker, less accurate, less realistic, or less useful than expected;
- platform rejection, low reach, poor performance, moderation removal, or account restrictions imposed by Instagram, Meta, or any other third-party platform;
- unused subscription time, partial billing periods, or failure to use purchased capacity;
- losses caused by user error, improper prompts, unauthorized source material, unsupported use cases, or third-party outages.
5. Exceptions, Duplicate Charges, and Billing Errors
Billing errors
If you believe you were charged in error, charged more than once for the same purchase, or billed for a transaction you did not authorize, contact Regent promptly.
Possible exceptions
Regent may, in its sole discretion, review clear billing mistakes or platform-side payment failures on a case-by-case basis. However, any courtesy adjustment does not create a general refund obligation or future precedent.
Nothing in this Policy limits any refund right that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
