COPYRIGHT POLICY

This Policy explains how Regent handles copyright, intellectual property, and related takedown complaints involving uploaded, generated, or published content.

Regent is the service. `heyregent.com` is the website where it is offered.

1. Ownership and User Responsibility

Regent allows users to upload, generate, edit, store, and publish media and text. Users, not Regent, are responsible for ensuring they have all rights, permissions, licenses, and consents required for any content they upload, generate, or direct Regent to publish.

Regent may remove, disable, restrict, or investigate content where we reasonably believe that it may infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, contract, or other rights.

2. How to Report Infringement

If you believe content available through Regent infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, email legal@heyregent.com with a detailed notice.

3. What to Include in a Notice

  • your full name and contact information;
  • a description of the copyrighted or protected work you claim has been infringed;
  • the specific content, URL, asset, or account you want us to review;
  • a statement describing why you believe the use is unauthorized;
  • a statement that the information you provided is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder.

4. Our Review Process

Regent may review the complaint, request more information, remove or disable access to the challenged content, restrict related account activity, or take no action if the notice is incomplete, unsupported, or not credible.

Regent may also preserve relevant records as reasonably necessary for compliance, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, and legal process.

5. Repeat Misuse and Abuse

Repeat misuse

Regent may suspend or terminate users who repeatedly upload, generate, or publish content that violates copyright, intellectual property, likeness, voice, or related rights.

Abusive notices

Regent may disregard or respond cautiously to notices that appear abusive, fraudulent, knowingly false, incomplete, or otherwise improper.
