How Competitor Tracking Works

Regent watches the competitor accounts you added in onboarding. Each weekly plan generation refreshes their recent posts and extracts hooks, content pillars, and engagement rates — the raw material your plan is built from.

Before you start

  • Completed onboarding with at least one competitor handle

Steps

  1. 1

    Open the Competitors page

Each tracked account shows as a card: handle, follower count, average engagement rate, and a link to view on Instagram.

  2. 2

    Browse captured posts

Recent posts from all tracked accounts, each tagged with post type, hook text, content pillar, and engagement rate. View all posts opens the full paginated list.

  3. 3

    Manage the list

Manage list returns to the competitor step where you add or remove handles — up to five.

  4. 4

    Let the plan use it

Data refreshes automatically when a weekly plan generates. Patterns that perform in your niche become topics and hooks in your calendar.
