Regent is live — the AI agent that runs your entire social on autopilot
Today is launch day. After months of building, breaking, rebuilding, and learning the hard way that AI avatars are ninety percent prompt and ten percent code, Regent is live at heyregent.com.
If you're a creator, founder, coach, or agency owner watching the same five tools eat your time and money — this is for you. We're letting in the first one hundred founding creators. After that, applications roll over to a v1.1 waitlist.
This post is the story of what Regent does, why it exists, and what's next. If you'd rather watch than read — the full two-minute demo is below.
#The problem I kept running into
I spent a long stretch trying to grow on Instagram without quitting my day job. The math was brutal. Post three to five reels a week, or fall off the algorithm. Each reel meant: write the script, set up lighting, record three takes, edit on CapCut, write a caption, find hashtags, schedule, then reply to every DM and comment.
That's ten to twenty hours of content work per week. Before doing your actual job.
So I did what every creator does — I bought tools. HeyGen for the AI avatar. ElevenLabs for the voice clone. OpusClip to repurpose long videos. Buffer to schedule. ManyChat for the DM funnel. Five subscriptions. Five logins. Five different interfaces with different keyboard shortcuts.
Each tool solved one slice. None of them talked to each other. I was the integration layer — copy-pasting scripts from Claude into HeyGen, downloading MP4s, re-uploading to Buffer, exporting captions, importing into ManyChat. The "AI workflow" was me, at 3am, manually duct-taping outputs together.
I kept thinking: somebody should build the whole loop. A single agent that watches my competitors, drafts a script in my voice, renders a reel in my face, ships it at peak time, replies to the DMs, and tells me next week what worked. Not five tools. One.
So I built it. That's Regent.
#What Regent actually is
Regent is the AI agent that runs your entire social media on autopilot. One platform, one workflow, the whole pipeline — from research to publish to reply.
Here's the two-minute walkthrough:
If you've ever wished for a content team you could afford, that's the shape of what Regent does. Below is every feature, in the order Regent runs them.
#1. Competitor + own-account research → fresh trending data per niche
Regent starts the week by studying your competitors. You pick three to five accounts in your niche. Regent scrapes them daily — every reel, every hook, every format, every posting time, every caption pattern.
Then it studies your own account. What's working. What flopped. Which hooks your audience leans into. Which times get the best reach. Which captions earn comments.
Know what to post next week based on your niche trends and your own performance.
This isn't competitor copying. It's competitor learning — extract the structural patterns (hook formula, format choice, slot timing), regenerate fresh content with your angle, your voice, your face.
If you want the deeper breakdown, the competitor hook formula post walks through the exact pattern extraction.
#2. Weekly content calendar with three hook variants per post
Regent drops a fresh seven-day calendar every week. Each day has a post slot. Each slot has three different hook variants so you can pick the strongest one — or A/B test them.

Each post tile expands into the full details — topic, target audience, hook variants, script outline, recommended format (reel or carousel), and ideal post time.

A full month of content planned in roughly twelve minutes. The 12-minute planning tutorial walks through the exact flow if you want to see the workflow before you sign up.
#3. Script, caption, and document generation
Click any tile and Regent writes the full script for you. It matches your voice — your tone, your sentence rhythm, your slang, your favorite words. The voice model trains on your existing captions and previous scripts, so the output sounds like you, not generic AI prose.
Three things drop together:
- Reel script — the spoken script, paced for short-form video
- Caption — the post caption with optimized hooks for the platform
- Document — a deep, multi-page guide that expands the script into knowledge your audience can save and share
The document is the unfair advantage. Most reels tease an idea and then vanish in the feed. Regent turns each reel into something useful by attaching a proper step-by-step document, automatically delivered to anyone who DMs the keyword you set. More on that in Section 7.
#4. AI avatar from one selfie
Upload one selfie. Regent builds your AI avatar — a lip-synced, photo-realistic version of you that can deliver any script you write.

The avatar model in 2026 is nothing like the uncanny, robotic versions people remember from 2024. Friends and family can't tell the difference for short-form reels.
Done once. Used forever.
You can also choose from preset avatars if you don't want to use your own face — useful for faceless niches or anonymous brands.
#5. Voice clone from fifteen seconds of audio
Record fifteen seconds of yourself reading any text. Regent clones your voice. From that point, every script Regent writes plays back in your voice — same accent, same cadence, same warmth.

You can preview, re-record, and even adjust voice parameters (warmth, pace, emphasis) without retraining. Clone once. Reuse forever.
#6. Reel and carousel generation
Now Regent stitches it together. Script + voice + avatar = a finished reel. Lip-synced. Captioned. Branded. Rendered in roughly sixty seconds.

For text-heavy posts, Regent generates carousels too — multi-slide Instagram posts with consistent design, your fonts, your colors. You pick the format Regent should generate, or let it choose based on what's working in your niche.
#7. Auto-publish to Instagram (with TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn rolling out)
When a reel or carousel is ready, Regent schedules it to publish to Instagram at peak time for your niche. Most niches peak in the 7–9 PM window — Regent learns yours specifically from your competitor data.
You approve once. Regent ships.
Coming in the next few weeks: TikTok, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Each platform ships into beta as we finish testing it, and founding creators get access the day it goes live — no upgrade, no waitlist. Single-platform launch lets us get Instagram reliable first instead of shipping five half-working integrations at once.
#8. Auto-DM, auto-reply, document delivery
Every published reel can trigger a DM funnel. Set the keyword ("guide", "free", "send"), set the document, and Regent watches for any comment containing that keyword. When someone comments, Regent DMs them the document, captures their email if they have it set on their profile, and logs the lead.
Replies to DMs use the same voice model that writes your scripts — so conversation flow sounds like you, even on autopilot.
Comment replies too. Regent reads incoming comments and drafts contextual replies in your voice. You can review-then-send or fully autopilot.
#9. Caption Generator, Link in Bio, and other tools you reach for
Beyond the main loop, Regent ships with a set of standalone tools you'd otherwise pay for separately.
Caption Generator — for one-off posts where you've already recorded something elsewhere. Paste a topic, get a caption with hooks, hashtags, and CTAs tuned to the platform.

Link in Bio page — a single hub that holds all your CTAs. Featured posts, lead magnets, signup forms, products, latest reels. Updates automatically when you post. Looks like Linktree, ships like Stripe.

Clone Competitor — see a competitor reel going viral? Paste the link. Regent rebuilds it in your face, your voice, your angle. Useful when a trend hits and you want to ride it without doing the full research loop.
Performance Loop — Regent watches what works each week and updates next week's calendar with the patterns. Your content gets smarter every cycle. Static AI tools cap out at week one. Regent compounds.

#Pricing — free during beta
The beta is free. Every founding creator gets the full pipeline at zero cost.
When the public beta caps out and we move toward general availability, paid tiers will roll in. You'll see the new pricing in your dashboard before any charge applies, and founding members get advance notice and a founding-creator discount when that transition happens.
There are no credits or extra purchases right now. Generation runs on shared GPU capacity included with your access. If demand grows enough that we need to add dedicated GPU capacity for faster generation, we may introduce optional credit packs for a priority queue — and we'll notify you by email and on the dashboard before anything changes. Standard generation will always remain available without an extra purchase during beta.
For a side-by-side on how Regent stacks against HeyGen, OpusClip, Buffer, and ManyChat, the AI social tools comparison 2026 post has the breakdown.
#The founding 100 — why we're limiting beta
We're letting in one hundred founding creators. That's it.
Why so few?
Founder DM access. I want to be in conversation with every founding member. Above one hundred, that turns into ticket queues and form replies. At one hundred or under, it's a Slack channel and direct messages.
Roadmap voting. Founding members shape v1.1. The features that ship next are the ones founding members vote up. That works at one hundred. At a thousand, it's a survey nobody reads.
Quality feedback over volume. Pre-launch, we ran closed alpha with twelve creators across niches — fitness, coaching, ecom, real estate, SaaS, finance. The depth of feedback at twelve was higher than every public beta I've ever joined. One hundred keeps that signal.
What founding creators get:
- Free beta access — full pipeline at zero cost while beta is open
- Founding-creator discount when paid tiers launch (announced in dashboard before any charge)
- Founder DM access — direct line to me for feedback and feature requests
- Roadmap input — your priorities shape what ships next
- Early access to every new feature before general release
#How to apply
If you want in, apply for beta at heyregent.com.
Applications close when we hit one hundred. Based on alpha interest, we expect the first wave to hit the cap inside the first week.
If you don't make the first hundred, you go on the waitlist for the next opening.
#What I want to ship to you next
This launch is the start, not the end. The next thirty days, I'll be:
- Shipping weekly improvements based on founding member feedback
- Publishing the why I built Regent deeper dive into the technical architecture
- Running monthly Regent community calls with founding members
- Writing the next pillar post on the AI reels 2026 playbook — what's changed since the original drop
- Sharing real founding-member case studies on the updates page
If you're a creator who's been waiting for the tool that finally connects every piece of the content loop — Regent is that tool.
Apply for beta — 100 spots only.
— Sumit Founder, Regent
